The Audemars Piguet story dates back to 1875 and Le Brassus, Switzerland, where Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet decided to join forces and started a watchmaking company with the goal to develop and craft watches equipped with complex mechanisms. The company quickly became famous for its delicate watchmaking and amongst their clients where, Bulgari, Cartier and Tiffany & Co. who rebranded and sold Audemars Piguet watches under their own house names.
